About Us



Mark has owned Staffords now for 30 years . Registering the Pitford prefix in 1981 . His main mentors was Dr Lois Davidson ( Olmoday ) who he still considers the most knowledgeable person he has ever known in Staffords . Also Bill Stevens ( Westaff ) who brought the first Staffords into Australia .

Mark showed Staffords from 1981 till 1990 before withdrawing from the show scene due to family commitments . Since then Mark has done many breed lectures for the judges training program in Queensland taking over from Dr Lois Davidson after her death . 

Mark and Terri have 7 kids and all Pitford Dogs have been bred and brought up living with and around all the kids . 

We look forward to many more years living with this most  wonderful breed of dog and gaining more practical knowledge which can only be achieved through time and living with this breed .
